NERC RESIST film wins video category for RGS Earth Photo 2019

We are delighted to announce that ss part of their NERC RESIST project, Professor Kate Spencer and Dr Clementine Chirol, along with their teammates from University of Cambridge, University of Cumbria and British Geological Survey, have won the video category of the Royal Geographical Society's (RGS) Earth Photo 2019 exhibition.

The RGS Earth Photo Exhibition is a shortlist of 50 photographs and four films that document the Earth in all its diversity. The film, titled “Weak and wobbly or strong and stable?: Determining the resistance of coastal salt marshes to extreme storms” looks at the coastal impacts of climate change, with a focus on salt marshes.

The Earth Photo 2019 exhibition will run from 6 July to 22 August. Opening times are Monday through to Friday from 10.00am-5.00pm, plus Saturdays from 10.00am-4.00pm. Find full details here.
