Geography Success in Education Awards 2012-13

I am very pleased to announce the stunning success of the School of Geography in the Queen Mary Students' Union Teaching Awards. Of the 10 awards Geography won 4. 

Professor Dave Horne has been named Assessment and Feedback Champion.

Dr Simon Carr has been given the Employability Enhancement Award.

Dr Kavita Datta has been named the Course Rep Champion

Our Subject Librarian, Lorna Rosbottom was named Learning Resources Champion.

In addition, David Pinder was shortlisted for the Research Supervisor of the Year.

These are awards that are the result of nominations from the students and decisions made by the students, so it is a real marker of the quality of the teaching that we do in the School of Geography.
