The Population Geography Research Group of the IGS-IBG has awarded first prize in the Joanna Stillwell Prize to Ashley Singh who graduated last year. Ashley's IGS was supervised by Isabel Dyck and was titled Migrant identities and their conceptions of home and living within the suburban landscapes of Essex.
Daniel Vickers, PGRG awards officer, writes "competition this year was extremely tough in terms of both the number and quality of dissertations entered for the prize".
