Dr Bronwyn Parry wins Drapers' Prize for Developments in Learning and Teaching

Published:

Dr Bronwyn Parry has been awarded a Drapers' Prize for Developments in Learning and Teaching, for her work connected with the evaluation of the ethical implications of proposed research. This centres on the development of the on-line assessment process which she developed in conjunction with Ed Oliver and Jason Go.

The comments from the assessment panel on Bronwyn's application and presentation say it all: this "clearly had a very significant and positive impact on student learning and on the way in which students engage with the ethical implications of research ... The innovations which Dr Parry has led have had a significant positive impact on the work of the Department and have clear transferability to other academic departments and across the College more widely".
