Undergraduate Open Days

Our Open Days provide a chance for you to find out what life as a student is like at Queen Mary.

Come and meet the team at our summer open day. Find out more about our courses in geography or environmental science at Queen Mary’s School of Geography.

Our next Open Days will be held on the following dates:

  • Friday 26 June 2015
  • Saturday 27 June 2015
  • Saturday 10 October 2015

A range of activities will be available on the day such as:

  • Subject talks
  • General interest talks – student life, residential services and study abroad
  • Campus and accommodation tours
  • Academic welcome areas- featuring all academic schools with current students and staff
  • Student support fair- featuring Advice and Counselling, Careers, Disability and Dyslexia, Students’ Union, IT Services

Subject talks
Geography and Environmental Science will host two talks on each open day at the following times:

  • 11.30am-12pm
  • 2.30pm-3pm

Lab tours
If you are interested in finding out more about physical geography and environmental science, then why not join us on a lab tour to find out about the excellent facilities here at QMUL Geography? Tours will be available on both Friday and Saturday, starting out from Geography Square at the following times:

  • 12.00pm
  • 12.30pm
  • 1.00pm
  • 1.30pm
  • 2.00pm

Note, there is a maximum capacity of 20 people per tour, so please drop by to collect a ticket from our marquee in Geography Square. A student ambassador will meet each group at the marquee and guide them to our laboratories. If you’d like to read more, please follow this link to the Physical Geography Laboratories.
