Time: 4:00 - 6:30pm
Venue: Geography Common Room (Room 118), Geography Building, Mile End campus

Thinking about starting a masters degree in 2016?

Come along and join fellow potential students at a special reception here in the School of Geography on Thursday 17th March.

This informal event offers you the chance to meet the team that could be teaching you if you choose to join the School of Geography this autumn.

  • Find out everything you need to know over refreshments with current students and staff too.
  • Learn about the modules, research methods, field trips and bursaries available across the range of Queen Mary Geography Masters programmes.

As the world of work grows more competitive, a masters degree significantly increases your opportunities of career advancement. A hallmark of the School of Geography is its commitment to research that makes a difference: challenging conventional boundaries within the discipline and between the academy and the community. The masters degrees develop this approach through engagement with a variety of leading academic experts and external organisations. Students at Queen Mary work with local, national and international charities and community organisations, government agencies and policy makers, museums and galleries, and industry practitioners.

This event is free but booking is essential. Please use the button below to register.
