Crisis and Resilience covers the variety of sectors engaged in crisis prevention, response, and mitigation. 

 

As part of our ongoing research in the Crisis and Resilience MDT we will push forward the exploration of the following themes that will further dive into the prolonged challenges of crisis management:

  • How can we promote resilience as a group responsibility and not an individual fault? 
  • How can resilience be developed and embedded within systems and in the workforce? 
  • How can we predict the development of crisis in different setting, geographies, and timescales?
  • Can crisis be prevented and mitigated through action of individuals, collectives, and policies? 
  • How can we effectively prepare and maintain preparedness for a crisis? 
  • How can we improve and augment crisis management in the future? 
  • What can we learn from the past and how can that learning be embedded into system infrastructures?
