Clinical Lecturers
Clinical Lectureship (CL) 
The objectives of CL training are to:
- Achieve clinical experience sufficient to obtain a CCT.
- Continue to develop academically as an independent investigator in a strong research environment.
- Obtain an intermediate fellowship or Clinical Senior Lecturer position supported by appropriate mentoring.
Clinical experience and completion of CCT
The CLs will re-join the clinical training scheme for their speciality after their CTF/PhD. 50% of the CLs' time will be allocated to clinical training comparable to that of the clinical trainees with 50% research.

CLs have access to an annual travel bursary of £1,000 per financial year (August to July). For detail please see Bursaries.
