The Festival of Communities takes place over two locations, so join us on Saturday 12th May in Stepney Green Park, Sunday 13th May to explore the QMUL Mile End Campus, or come to both days, with different activities across the weekend there will be something for everyone!

Scroll down for directions to both locations, with some tips pointing you towards the best way to reach us.

If you're still unsure then email us on publicengagement@qmul.ac.uk or send us a Facebook message on the day.

Stepney Green Park

Saturday 12th May, 11.30am-5pm

Roll up, roll up to Stepney Green Park! The best way to reach us by tube is via Stepney Green Station on the Hammersmith and City or District line. You can also travel to Mile End Station on the Central line or Whitechapel on the Overground if you don't mind a slightly longer walk or a short bus ride.

If you want to take the bus, the 205 and 25 bus routes run closest. If you get off at the Stepney Green stop you'll just need to head up Stepney Green Road opposite the Mile End Retail Park and you'll be there in 5 minutes.

We also recommend typing the postcode E1 3DH into the Transport for London website or Citymapper app to find the best way of reaching the festival fun!

The People's Palace, Queen Mary University of London Mile End Campus

Sunday 13th May, 11.30am-5pm

Join us at the People's Palace by taking the London Underground to Mile End on Hammersmith and City, District and Central lines or Stepney Green on the Hammersmith and City and District lines.

You'll just need to turn left from Mile End (under the bridge) or right from Stepney Green (across the traffic crossing) and keep walking for about 5 minutes until you see us!

If you want to take the bus, the 205 and 25 bus routes run past the festival and you can jump off at the Queen Mary University of London stop right outside the entrance.

Or for the more tech savvy you can just type the postcode E1 4NS into the Transport for London website or Citymapper app to find the best route.
