How to apply

Your application should include:

1) A focused CV.

For Lecturer and Senior Lecturer applications, this will consist of no more than 5 single-sided pages of A4. The focused CV should outline your most recent and significant publications, your research plans, any current and recent research grants, your experience of PhD supervision and the breadth, type and excellence of your teaching.

For Reader and Professor applications, the focused CV can be up to 10 single-sided pages of A4. Additionally, it will include evidence of academic leadership, external recognition and research impact. Candidates with experience of developing international partnerships or leading international initiatives for recruiting students are encouraged to apply.

2) A cover letter of no more than 1 page of A4 stating how your research fits with one or more of the research centres, groups or clusters in the School of Business and Management.

You should explain how your research contributes to knowledge in the REF period and provide an outline of your research plans for the next 3-5 years.

If shortlisted, you will be asked to supply pdfs of recent research publications and two teaching evaluations, as well as the name of three referees. As part of the selection process you will be asked to give a presentation to members of the School.
