This is a compulsory module for all Electrical and Electronic Engineering students, and an optional module for Electronic Engineering students, Electronics and Telecommunications students, and Electronic Engineering and Computing students.
The aim of the module is to provide an understanding of feedback and control systems, modelling dynamic systems, use of Laplace transform for control systems analysis, the steady state response, the system frequency response, and s-plane analysis for the transient response, and the control of digital systems. Powered by MATLAB and LabVIEW softwares, the labs will enable you to apply concepts to real-time control design, implement control solutions and evaluate your results.
