Electromagnetics as a tool for solving and investiagting bio-medical problems
Supervisor: Dr Rostyslav Dubrovka
Research group(s): Antennas and Electromagnetics
This generalised title covers multidisciplinary topics such as splitting mechanisms of nano- and micro-particles using energy at mm- and sub-THz frequencies for precise in-body drug delivery and Lagrangian dynamics as a tool for investigation of large scale bio-molecular oscillation in the THz frequency domain. These projects would require not only a solid knowledge of electromagnetics/antenna theory, circuitry, math and physics but also a good understanding of mechanics and/or chemistry.
