Profile
Dr Dharrie-Maharaj qualified from the London Hospital in 1993 and went on to complete an MSc in Endodontics at Guy’s Hospital in 1999. Since then, he has worked primarily in practice limited to endodontics but Is also keeping a long-standing commitment to general dentistry. Since 2008, he’s been back teaching at Bart’s and the London School of Dentistry, on a part time basis.
In 2012, he completed a Masters in medical law at Cardiff University and has since gone on to produce a number of expert witness reports mainly for the MDDUS but also for GDC. He has also attended 2 GDC hearings as an expert, one each for either side. This training and experience has provided Dr Dharrie-Maharaj with a wealth of information on what is considered good practice and what is not, aiding him to impart this knowledge to the undergraduates that he teaches.
Teaching
Dr Ganase Dharrie-Maharaj teaches undergraduate students in the department of Adult Oral Health in the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Research
Research Interests:
Dr Dharrie-Maharaj has not carried out any research. With respect to notable achievements, he has completed his year as President of The London Hospital Dental Club and they have just had they’re annual Clinical Meeting, which was a great success.
