Our Scholars after a hard day's work
What a great turnout to our first DCE CDT Writing Retreat!
Our Scholars showed great dedication and, despite the warm weather, spent the day writing and making fantastic progress. Literature Review, Methodology Chapter, Year 1 Progression Report, journal article... you name it - they did it!
In addition to making progress towards their writing goals, the Scholars particularly valued the opportunity to meet in person (some of them for the first time!) and work alongside their peers in a supportive environment. Those who were not able to come along were greatly missed.
After hours of hard work, our Scholars posed for a group picture, and then proceeded to get a well-deserved dinner together (no pictures were taken then!).
