Centre for Law and Society in a Global Context

Professor Sionaidh Douglas-Scott pens article in The Guardian on 'Can Scotland remain in the EU?'

Published:

Professor Sionaidh Douglas-Scott, Anniversary Chair in Law and Co-Director at the Centre for Law and Society in a Global Context (CLSGC) at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), authored an opinion piece on 'Can Scotland remain in the EU?' for The Guardian. In the article she says: "But how can Scotland remain within the EU, if the UK acts on the referendum vote? One possibility is that Scotland (and Northern Ireland, London, Gibraltar?) might remain within the EU somehow, even though England and Wales leave. It is not as unlikely as some make it sound."
