Description
The workshop aims to share the Fellow's experience in bidding for Jean Monnet projects and the Jean Monnet Chair project in particular. Given that such projects are highly prestigious and EU funded, are awarded in the form of grants and with only a minimum of bureaucracy involved makes them particularly attractive to scholars. A short presentation outlining the main elements of the Jean Monnet project will be outlined, followed by an outline that focuses on advisable strategies to maximize success. Considering the competitive nature of such projects, such strategies will enable participants to economize on form-filling and concentrate on aspects of their application most likely to deliver positive returns. The workshop is primarily aimed at early career researchers at Queen Mary but not limited to them.
