It is now over 110 years since the Dreyfus affair burst into the open in France and divided French Society. At its heart was Colonel Picquart whose decision to reveal the conviction of the wrong man nearly cost him his life. Today the issue remains highly topical, from government surveillance of citizens to the exposure of abuses in the National Health Service. The talks by the speakers will be followed by a discussion.
This event will be followed by a drinks reception.
The event is accredited for CPD points with the Bar Standards Board, the SRA and ILEX and the Ecole de formation du Barreau for 2 hours.
