On Sunday, 8th December, Prof Ian Walden hosted an alumni reunion dinner at Taipei 101, a signature building in Taipei, with 10 alumni attending the event. They were from diverse backgrounds, with many in-house counsel of renowned multinational companies and well-known local and international law and trade mark/patent firms, nearly half of them working in the microchip industry. Prof Walden was very pleased to meet everyone and hear about their past study experience and current achievements. He highlighted next year’s CCLS 40th Anniversary and the establishment of alumni chapters across the world, of which Taiwan will be one of the first. A happy evening was enjoyed by all.
