CCLS was a natural choice to make given its practical approach and the fact that modules are taught by brilliant academics and renowned practitioners who offer students the opportunity not only to acquire knowledge but also profit from their practical experience. And undoubtedly it is in a great location, being in the centre of a cosmopolitan city like London, allowing students to assist in countless events and seminars in their preferred area of study.
It was a nourishing year full of wonderful memories, from visiting an offshore windfarm to a biomass power plant and attending very interesting webinars with renowned figures in the energy sector.
Probably what I enjoyed the most was the opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world, learn from their experiences and countries and have the opportunity to meet and have discussions with renowned professors from different backgrounds.
I feel honoured to be part of the CCLS community. It is an opportunity to keep in touch with colleagues and professors and be constantly updated on ongoing developments.
Studying at CCLS allowed me to enhance my international background in the energy sector, and to identify and learn the best practices of this fascinating sector. CCLS also gave me the opportunity to do a monthly work placement in Herbert Smith Freehills, one of the top tier Law firms in the energy sector in London.
The energy sector is strategic for the development of any country. As natural resources are key and scarce, achieving sustainable development is a global concern that CCLS appropriately addresses from a practical perspective.
