Università Ca'Foscari Venezia (Ca' Foscari University of Venice) is a university in Venice, northern Italy. Founded in 1868, it was first educational institution in Italy to offer higher education in commerce and economics. The University has about 20,000 enrolled students and offers a wide range of subjects in 4 main scientific-cultural areas: economics, languages, sciences and humanities. Ca' Foscari University runs 15 First Cycle Degree Programmes and 29 Second Cycle Degree Programmes, 39 Specialist Master’s Programmes and 14 Research Doctorates. The University also offers a variety of courses within the Summer School (including the prestigious Ca' Foscari - Harvard Summer School).
