She obtained a PhD in Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute (EUI) with a dissertation entitled “Transnational Reproduction: Experiences of Italian Reproductive Travellers Receiving Donor Gametes and Embryos Abroad”. She has then received a Piscopia- Marie Curie Fellowship and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Padua (Italy), the University of the Aegean (Greece) and the University of Barcelona (Spain).
