Caterina joined the School of Business and Management at QMUL in September 2016. She works on topics at the intersection between political economy, environment and development economics. She is generally interested in studying how institutions influence environmental outcomes and the way environmental policies are implemented. In particular most of her research studies the obstacles to an efficient policymaking in the environmental sector (e.g. corruption and rent-seeking behaviour).
