Dr Deven Bathia is a Lecturer in Finance at Queen Mary University of London. He undertook his PhD in Finance at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Ireland, examining asset pricing implications of investor sentiment. His principal research interests lie in the fields of behavioural finance, asset pricing, investments and corporate governance. He has participated and presented his research in a number of international conferences including Financial Management Association, European Financial Management Association, Eastern Finance Association, Emerging Scholars in Banking & Finance and Infiniti Conference. Deven has previously held lectureship position at Newcastle University Business School, and has over seven years of experience in the accounting and asset management industry. He currently holds a visiting faculty position at Management Development Institute, India.
