The Executive Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team is a member of the professional services function in the School. They support the School’s Senior Leadership Team in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and in the smooth running of the School, supporting in particular the processes around academic staff development, promotion and sabbaticals, and the collation and analysis of data for strategic planning, accreditation applications, and other projects designed to enhance the School’s reputation and impact.
Jercade plans, implement and manage the development of HR functions for academic staff within the School, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and record keeping. She serves as the School’s primary point of contact for HR professionals, for senior managers in the School with responsibility for line management and for staff development (primarily the Heads of Department and the Associate Dean, People, Culture and Inclusion, respectively) and for applicants to academic posts.
She provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Dean of School ensuring he is fully briefed and prepared for all activities and to ensure the smooth, efficient and effective running of their agenda, diary and meetings. She acts as Secretary to the School’s Senior Leadership Team, organising the agendas and papers, and producing accurate minutes, as well as ensuring that all documents are properly archived.
Jercade supports the work, personnel, administrative support and diary management for Head of School. She develops School calendar and meeting schedules and is the Committee Secretary for the Management Committees, School Board, Admin Team Meetings and EDI Committee. She is responsible for personnel HR operations which include recruitment, sabbaticals, appraisals, promotions, probations and contracts. She also inducts and integrates new academic staff and visitors.
