Research Manager



The Research Manager works closely with the Faculty Research Manager to provide high-level professional advice and support to the ongoing development and implementation of School research strategies, enhancing the research environment, facilitating the delivery of strategic research objectives, and ensuring the management and analysis of data as required for internal and external reporting. They are an integral member of the senior administrative team in the School of Business and Management and are responsible for the effective management of all research-related activities requiring support.

Saritha effectively manages all research activities requiring support, including the development and implementation of the research and impact strategy in the School. She facilitates research grant applications by monitoring and identifying opportunities which are relevant to research carried out by individuals in the School and provides post-award support to grant holders.

She supporting academics in developing impact outcomes and case studies to demonstrate the benefit of the School’s research outside academia and Supports all Research Excellence Framework related activities within the College. To do this she provides research data and management information for a variety of purposes.

She coordinates the implementation of Open Access on behalf of the School and is responsible for the organisation of the School’s Research Committee, Professorial Meetings and Research Away Day. She prepares and circulates the school’s monthly research newsletter.

The Research Manager oversees the school’s postgraduate research degree programme and reports to the Faculty Research Manager and the Associate Dean (Research). They sis in the Research Team.
