Collaborative Partners

The School has built a strong reputation for taking a socially-responsible approach to education and research, which undertakes at local and international level, in close collaboration with partners from abroad.

The international connections of the members of the School are distributed across the work, with 49% of those connections taking place with European countries, 24% with the Americas, 21% with Asia, 4% with Oceania and 2% with Africa. SBM staff have attended universities and schools in more than hundred countries, and similarly they have taught in an even greater number of institutions overseas. Academics have co-authored work with international partners in more than six hundred opportunities and have engaged in circa two hundreds projects outside UK, covering all continents. The projects deal with the local and the global, with the international experience of the School members also having direct impact on those living in areas surrounding the university, London and the UK.
