Patrick Pallier did his PhD at INSERM in Bordeaux, France. He then worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the School of Psychology at the University of St Andrews, and in the Department of Pharmacology at Cambridge University, before joining Prof. Adina Michael-Titus and Prof. John Priestley at Queen Mary University of London, in the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma in the Blizard Institute, where he became a Lecturer in Neuroscience. His research is multidisciplinary and translational, and uses a wide array of in vitro and in vivo techniques. It focuses on the characterization and development of novel therapeutic approaches to protect and repair the brain or the spinal cord after trauma, delay ageing, or prevent the occurrence of neurodegenerative conditions. He is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
