Having been awarded an Entrance Exhibition to King’s College, Cambridge to read Classics, Vicky subsequently read Medical Sciences at Cambridge and completed her clinical training at St Mary’s Hospital, London. She has a very broad based medical training encompassing several years in Accident and Emergency Medicine and General Practice prior to training in Dermatology. She completed an NHS R and D funded period as a Research Registrar evaluating the reliability of Teledermatology in triaging pigmented lesions. She has a special clinical interest in Hair Disorders and Medical Education, having completed the RCP Physician as Educator programme in 2010. She holds the ARCM Violin Performers Diploma.

Teaching

As the previous Course Director for the UK Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology I was intensely involved in both the planning, designing and delivery of first class distance learning and in-person teaching to adult learners, and was shortlisted in 2011 for the Drapers Award for Excellence in teaching and the ALT- Epigeum Award for effective use of video in teaching.
