Simon Myers is a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, and directed the Chelsea Burn Centre before taking up a Clinical Academic post at Barts & The London Medical School. It is the breadth and surgical innovation that particularly define this surgical specialty, and the group has a range of research, education, and training foci. From roots within skin engineering and wound healing, have developed translational programmes in keloid scar biology and chemotherapy, human in vivo cell tracking, distance learning MSc programmes, and simulated training in microsurgery.
