Florian holds a PhD in Economics and Public Policy Analysis from Maastricht University (NL). He also holds an MSc in Social Protection Financing from Faculty of Economics and Business, Maastricht University (NL) and an MSc in Economics and Management from Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana (Albania). Prior to joining Queen Mary University of London, Florian has held various research and academic positions at University College London (UK), University of Amsterdam (NL) and Maastricht University (NL). Florian has continuously provided his expertise on health and economic matters to national and international organisations such as NICE (UK), WHO and The World Bank.

Florian’s current research interests include: health economic evaluations and health technology assessment, health and social policy analysis, health micro-econometric analysis and health care financing.
