Professor Silvia Marino elected Vice President of the British Neuro-Oncology Society

The governing body of the British Neuro-Oncology Society has unanimously supported the nomination of Professor Silvia Marino, based within the Centre for Genomics and Child Health here at the Blizard Institute, as the new Vice President of the society. Professor Marino will serve for two years as Vice President from July 2015 before succeeding the incoming President, Mr David Jellinek, in July 2017. The Society‚Äôs mission is to promote research and education in Neuro-Oncology and to improve treatment of patients with tumours of the central nervous system.
