Director and Founder, Conserve me Foundation
Two years after graduating from Queen Mary, I set up the Conserve me Foundation which aims to advance young people’s understanding of science, biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
Working with primary and secondary schools, we design and deliver interactive educational science projects that use a wide range of mechanisms to teach and deliver different messages. Since we started, our projects have supported over 7,500 students from 150 UK schools. Students from Queen Mary have been running our Biodiversity+ Programme since 2008; a scheme which has not only been beneficial to students in East London schools, but it has also helped students at Queen Mary to develop their skills, enhance their CVs and to gain invaluable work experience.
