During speeches which he made at each of the receptions, Professor Gaskell emphasised the need for alumni to remember Queen Mary and support its aspirations to ensure that future students were supported by alumni. He was especially keen to emphasise the role that young alumni could play as mentors and advocates of the College to current and prospective students in their home countries.
