Question

I need a new student id card what do I do?

Students will need to get new ID cards from the Student Enquiry Centre. If their card has expired (for example, they have interrupted their studies and the course end date has changed) or has been stolen (and they can provide a crime reference number) it is free to replace the card, otherwise it will cost £20.

I need a letter to show I am a Queen Mary student

All fully enrolled students except those on programmes that are shorter than 12 weeks (1 semester), clinical medical electives, Summer School programmes and Intercollegiate students can obtain an electronic status letter online through their Gradintelligence account.

How can I get a student oyster card?

Students need to apply for a student oyster card online after full enrolment with an active e-mail address, their Student ID number, a London borough address and a digital photo:

There is a charge of £20 for each application. Students should check the TFL terms and conditions before applying for the 18+ Oyster card to make sure they are eligible. If they are unsure that they meet the eligibility criteria, they can contact oyster@qmul.ac.uk for more information.
