Suzanne’s background is in Dentistry and she has been at QMUL since 2002 starting in Occupational Health and now being part of the Health & Safety Directorate. Part of her role is to oversee the correct segregation and disposal of clinical waste in accordance with current legislation. This includes ensuring that as little plastics as possible are used within laboratories and there is sustainability buy-in from the waste contractor.
