Halls Reuse Campaign: Donate your unwanted items when you move out!

Don’t throw away your unwanted items when you leave. Why not donate them to the Halls Reuse Campaign 2015? Last year we collected all unwanted items and a number were passed on to new residents moving into halls the following September!
- Clean bedding and towels – duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels
- Clean crockery, pans, kitchenware and crockery
- Clothes airers/laundry baskets
- Suitcases, bags etc
- Stationery
- Small electrical items
- Unopened non-perishable food items
- Toiletries, detergents etc – partially full bottles are most welcome
Please do not leave any items in your rooms when you move out as you will be charged for these.
Ask at Reception at France House, Westfield Way, Mile End Campus if you need any additional bags for collection.
Bring any donations to the drop off points at the locations and times listed below. Please note, for Mile End campus we cannot accept donations outside of these drop off times. If you cannot make these times, please see if you can pass items to a friend to drop off.

Please drop of items outside the Site Manager’s Office at Floyer Hall from 18th May onwards.
Where the items will go...
The items will be distributed by the London Reuse network and sent to charities for the items to be reused by people who need them. This way, they reduce the overall amount of waste sent to landfill, and energy used for recycling. London Reuse Network work with a large network of charities and reuse businesses including Bikeworks and give2give.
