Elect new committee members 2013-2014

Are you interesting in being a part of improving the sustainability of QM? If yes, the Student Society, Green Mary are electing a new committee for the 2013-2014 academic year!
The positions available are:
If you are interested please attend their AGM on 28 March 2013 (5pm in Francis Bancroft, 1.02.5) with a statement (no more than 100 words) outlining what you will do if elected (an anonymous vote will then take place).
If you can’t attend the AGM then please email your statement to firstname.lastname@example.org and they will make sure you are represented on the day. Any questions please get in touch.
After the AGM members will head over to the Palm Tree!

Successes over the past year:
Strengthened coalitions with other environmental groups such as Thames21 and Trees for Cities by helping out with volunteering events.
Raised over £80 for the Fairtrade Foundation through a cake sale using only Fairtrade ingredients.
Screened the film 'Home', free of charge, in the SU.
Co-ran 'Go Green Week' - a week of environmental events including: getting The Curve to serve only vegetarian meals, a free bike-repair workshop, a student Swap-Shop and a film screening.
Conducted an environmental audit of all the buildings owned by the SU.
Helped get the Campus Vegetable Allotment set up.
