Undergraduate Open Day

Our Open Days provide a chance for you to find out what life as a student is like at Queen Mary.

We plan a range of events, lectures, talks and demonstrations for the day, including:

• Campus tours - you will be shown around by a current Queen Mary student who will answer all your questions and tell you the realities of studying here
• Education fair - there will be stands for all subjects, staffed by lecturers and students who will tell you whatever you want to know about our courses
• Subject talks - on all our main subject areas, covering course content, teaching methods and possible career paths
• General talks - on student life (by real students); student finance and budgeting; and how to impress an admissions tutor on a UCAS form (without lying!)
• Interactive activities - some Departments will offer workshops, lab demonstrations and the chance to experience university-level equipment and facilities
• Departmental tours
• The Students' Union, cafes and refectories will be open too

The Open Day is organised by the Education Liaison and Access Office.
