Tuition fees for continuing students

Home/EU tuition fees for 2012-13

For students who entered higher education on or after 1 September, 2006, but prior to 2012/13, and who are being charged variable fees, the maximum fee payable will be £3,465 in 2012-13. Part-time fees are usually charged at approximately half the full-time rate.

For existing students who entered higher education prior to 2006, and are on the old fee scheme, the maximum fee payable for 2012-13 will be £1,375.

These fees apply to foundation and undergraduate degree programmes including MBBS, BDS and intercalated medical and dental programmes.

Fees for some intercollegiate programmes are charged by the joint institution. Where this is the case, please refer to the institution fees listing for the appropriate fees.

Additional fees

Some courses include compulsory field trips. This amount is not included in your tuition fee. You will be asked to pay for these trips separately. These extra costs cannot be covered by The Student Loan Company, either by Tuition Fee Grant or Loan. For more information on these extra costs please contact the relevant department/school.
