Fees, finance and discounts



The QMUL Summer School costs: £1,499* per session.

How to pay

This is payable via the QMUL E-shop when you accept your offer.


Your accommodation will cost £899 per session.

*(This covers tuition and your social programme). Please note the Global Cities: Paris and London Summer Course has a separate fee, detailed below.


We offer 10% fee discounts for:

  • current students
  • alumni
  • students from official QMUL partner institutions

Early bird application discount

All applications submitted before 28 February 2018 will be entitled to a 10% discount when you accept our study offer.

Global Cities: Paris and London Summer Course

The Global Cities: Paris and London Summer School fees are:

  • £5560 (including 10% academic fee discount) 
  • £5880 (full fee) 

The cost will include: 

  • accommodation in Paris and London (Paris: shared apartment, meals not included/London: student residence halls, breakfast included)
  • ULIP/QMUL academic fees
  • QMUL transcript
  • welcome and farewell parties
  • Eurostar train transfer from Paris to London
  • travel cards in both cities 
  • orientation, city walking tour, evening performance in each city
  • one day-trip in Paris

Please note: airfare and daily expenses are not included in the price.

Additional costs and course excursions

Please note that some courses have some additional fees not included in the Tuition and Social Programme Fee. These fees are for activities and field trips that may take place away from our campus. Please check details for your chosen course to confirm whether there are any additional costs.

Please note there is no deposit payment required for the QMUL Summer School.


We’ll provide you with a thorough guide to what expenses you should consider when you stay with us, so you can budget accordingly. This information will be released in autumn 2017.
