International Strategy

Strategic Aim 5

Strategic Aim 5: Raise our global reputation and profile as a leader in international higher education

A strong global reputation underpins the achievement of much of this strategy. Our research success has enhanced awareness of QMUL overseas, and our achievements in teaching, particularly our expertise in developing pedagogy for international education, give us much to build on. Raising awareness of our strengths, for example, via international public engagement projects and enhanced marketing and PR, will enable us to celebrate our accomplishments with a global audience and further our profile as a leader in international higher education.

QMUL is at the forefront of internationalisation not just within the UK, but globally. It is not enough just to seek to be more international, important though this goal is. Through the achievement of the objectives of this strategy, we will become an institution that is known for being inclusively international: driving the benefits of interaction, engagement and partnership into all areas of university activity, and ensuring that all who work and study at the university have a distinctively QMUL international experience.
