Queen Mary University of London is one of the twenty most international universities in the world. The institution is highly attractive to international students and staff, and very productive in international research publication. QMUL’s Strategy 2014 - The Next Five Years sets out four international targets:
- Promote global research interactions by creating major collaborations and nurturing their success – three major new multi-disciplinary agreements per year over the course of the strategy
- Increase study-related opportunities outside of the UK for London-based students – 100 per cent increase by 2018/19
- Extend the portfolio of QMUL’s transnational education programmes - 5,000 students by 2018/19
- Growth in the number of non-UK students (including associates) studying with QMUL in London – 50 per cent increase by 2018/19
This international strategy supports the achievement of those targets and sets out our wider approach to QMUL’s international agenda, and how an international perspective can make much of the university's activity even more powerful and effective.
