Language learning

Being able to speak a second language will give you a big advantage in the job market and Language Learning at Queen Mary offers you the opportunity to learn a variety of languages, no matter what subject you are studying and even if you have never learnt another language before.

Courses range from beginner to advanced level and we offer French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic.

You will have access to the latest teaching facilities as our language laboratories are equipped with computers and interactive white boards. Our friendly and experienced staff will guide you through your studies. You may, if you wish, sit exams resulting in the award of a diploma at the end of the course.
