The International and EU Office will send you fortnightly newsletters to keep you updated on the latest news from QMUL, as well as important information related to your future studies here at Queen Mary. We will try to ensure these newsletters are as concise as possible to ensure we’re not bombarding you with information!

This issue includes information on why QMUL is the right choice for you, applying for accommodation, tuition fees and course deposits, and links to some of our graduate profiles. You may find our international webpages, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts useful. They are regularly updated with helpful information for our new students, including details of our forthcoming pre-departure briefing sessions that will be taking place around the world between now and September 2016.

Why Choose Queen Mary University of London?

Accommodation



Applying For Accommodation

While our students are free to live where they choose, living in College accommodation has its advantages. For many, living in a student community provides an important part of experiencing university life whilst also ensuring academic and social facilities are close at hand.

Housing applications for the academic year 2016-17 are now open. The username and password that enable you to apply are sent by our Admissions Office now you have firmly accepted your offer to study at QMUL. Full details of the current housing policy and relevant deadlines can be found here.

Finance

Tuition Fees and Course Deposits

Tuition fees for 2016/17 are published online for all of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Deposits - UK/EU Fee payers

If you have been assessed as a UK or EU fee payer, certain courses require payment of a deposit towards your tuition fee in order to secure your place at QMUL.

Please click this link for a directory of the courses that require a deposit, and the value of deposit required. You will only be required to pay your deposit once you have accepted your offer of a place at QMUL and have met all the conditions outlined in your offer. The admissions office will send you a reminder email when you are required to do so.

Overseas Fee payers (Non-EU)

If you are an overseas fee payer and you will join any taught postgraduate or foundation course, you will be required to pay a deposit of £2,000 towards your tuition fee in order to secure your place at QMUL.

You should do so only after you have accepted your offer of a place at QMUL and have met all the conditions outlined in your offer. The admissions office will send you a reminder email when you are required to do so. Further details about making deposit payments can be found here.
