Queen Mary Graduate School
Selecting the most appropriate institution for graduate study is a very different process from looking for a university in which to pursue a first degree. Your needs as a graduate student are specific and much more individualised. In recognition of this the College has a Graduate School that works with academic departments to ensure postgraduate teaching and research at Queen Mary is of the highest quality.
Responsibilities of the Graduate School include:
- ensuring that research students receive appropriate training and supervision
- ensuring that postgraduate teaching is of a high standard
- dissemination of good practice in both research student training, supervision, assessment, and postgraduate teaching; promotion of new initiatives in graduate teaching and research
- ensuring that appropriate facilities are available to meet the academic, social and career development needs of graduate students.
