Faculty structure
Academic schools and departments are structured across three faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Medicine and Dentistry. As well as the facilities and resources provided by your school or department, you will also be able to make use of resources provided at a faculty level – from additional study spaces to informal networking events.
The faculty structure enables the fruitful exchange of ideas and cross-disciplinary collaboration. For example, research centres often draw on the expertise of people with common interests yet who belong to different academic schools.
