Distance learning students: pre-enrolment completed

Thank you for completing online pre-enrolment.

To complete the enrolment process and become FULLY ENROLLED, you will need to pay your tuition fees and have provided documents as described in the section below 'Official documents'.

INFORMA applicants

For students who have applied through INFORMA, once you have completed pre-enrolment, you should supply INFORMA with certified copies of the documents listed below, by email:

  • Proof of Identification (such as the photo page of your passport if you’re classed as an ‘overseas’ fee payer, or your passport or drivers’ licence if you’re classed as a ‘home’ fee payer)
  • All fee payments must be made to INFORMA and if you have any enquiries please contact them.
  • Colour copies of your qualifications. You will also need to send in certified copies of the qualifications you applied with (and an official certified translation of your qualifications, if the qualifications are not in English).

To complete the process and become fully enrolled, you do not need to come in to Queen Mary. You should send in the above required documents by scanning and emailing them to INFORMA. Please remember to pre-enrol first. Queen Mary's Academic Registry team will be unable to complete your enrolment until pre-enrolment is complete and all required documents have been received from INFORMA.

Direct applicants

Pay your tuition fees

You have a choice of either paying all of the tuition for the academic year at the beginning of the academic year, or paying 50% of your tuition fees at the start of the year, and setting up a payment plan with the Fees office to pay the remainder (there is a £50 administrative fee for the payment plan, and a payment plan agreement needs to be signed before it can be formally accepted by the Fees office).

Please see ‘Payment Methods’ at the link below for payment arrangements: www.qmul.ac.uk/postgraduate/taught/tuitionfees/payment

Please note that you will not be able to complete enrolment until you have paid your fees, or made provision to pay your fees with the Fees Office.

Official documents and ID verification

After you’ve pre-enrolled and made arrangements to pay your fees, you need to complete enrolment and become fully enrolled.

To do this, you will need to email a good quality colour copy of photo identification (such as the photo page of your passport if you’re classed as an ‘overseas’ fee payer, or your passport or drivers’ licence if you’re classed as a ‘home’ fee payer). You will also need to email a copy of the qualifications you applied with (and an official certified translation of your qualifications, if the qualifications are not in English) if you have not already done so. If you are a postgraduate student in the School of Medicine and Dentistry we can accept your GMC number as proof of your qualification but we cannot accept this to verify your identity.

To complete the process and become FULLY ENROLLED, you do not need to visit a Queen Mary site/campus. The requested documents need to be emailed as attachments to distancelearning@qmul.ac.uk, with the subject line referencing  your application number. Academic Registry will use these documents to complete your enrolment on your behalf.  We aim to complete your enrolment  within 2 to 3 days of receiving the full set of documentation. Once fully enrolled, you will receive an email to confirm the process is complete.
