Paying your fees

You are responsible for the payment of your tuition fees, and you will need to make payment or have arrangements in place before you can be fully enrolled as a student at Queen Mary. Once you have completed pre-enrolment, you will be sent an invoice for your tuition fees by post and by email.

Applying to a sponsor for tuition fee and other support

Any student expecting support from a recognised sponsor, eg Student Finance England, a government agency/department, or a commercial organisation, should apply (if you have not already done so) to the sponsor without delay. This should ensure that, by enrolment, you will be able to provide documentary proof of fee support and where relevant, receive your first maintenance loan and/or grant instalment. Applying in good time is especially important if you are seeking government support where delays can arise because of the huge volume of applications being processed.

UK undergraduates can apply online for Student Finance (tuition fee and maintenance support) at: www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance, or apply on paper using application form PN1, available from the same website.

EU undergraduates should make applications (for tuition fee loan only) to the EU Customer Services Team, using form EU10N available from: www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance.

Some European nationals are eligible for maintenance support in addition to a tuition fee loan; please read ‘Student Finance for undergraduates’ – on the Advice and Counselling website.
