Professor Delgado appeared on Start the Week, discussing the Spanish Civil War. She talks about the ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ approach to the War in the aftermath of Franco’s dictatorship. From the end of the 20th century she has seen a change in this attitude, with a generation beginning to ask what happened to their grandparents during the War. Professor Delgado also recently appeared on the BBC’s The Strand, discussing the Buenos Aires International Film Festival.
