Five-year, £1.4 million project to reveal "unsung heroes" of biomedicine

A £1.4m project, led by Professor Tansey, will reveal the thinking of the “unsung heroes” of brain surgery, disease cures, biomedicine breakthroughs and medical ethics. Some 130 interviews will take place over five years, along with 20 witness seminars, to ultimately provide a potentially vital resource for future scientific exploration and public education.
